Mary at Mary's Writing Nook made the following very important post to help spread the word about the vital importance of organ donation.
Nancy at Nancy's Nonsense shared this. It originated with Memoirs of a Mommy who created this award in honor of the donor that saved Noah's Life. Noah is her son, and he had a heart transplant when he wasn't even a month old. This dear little boy just celebrated his first birthday earlier this month!! Her hopes are that in passing this award around, we will create more awareness of the importance of organ donation. Please take a copy of this award and post it with a link back to Memoirs of a Mommy and help promote organ donation.
Won't you please help spread the word? Click this link to Memoirs of a Mommy
Thank you!!

Talk about being on similar wave-lengths … I shared this award for the second time at Sacred Ruminations this morning. Maybe I’ll add it to today’s post at Small Reflections too. Thanks for 'muttering' along with me this morning. I've already added an OSI picture and Haiku there, so it'll be easy to make one more addition ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Having a sister-in-law who received a kidney from a random donor, I know how important it is. My driver's license shows my intentions and my family knows my wishes as well to donate whatever can be used.
One of hubby's nephews had a heart transplant 3 years ago. He is in his 50's and wouldn't be here today if there wasn't a donor. Yes, we know the importance of organ donors.
Wonderful, Storyteller! I always enjoy your posts. The mutterings are a lot of fun! hugs,Tina
Alice, I'm very happy that your sister-in-law was able to get the kidney she needed. You are a great booster for this cause!
Linda, what a wonderful outcome. There can be no better way to encourage people to participate than with these real life success stories! Thank you for sharing this one!
Tina,
Thanks so much for posting this award. It's important that we heighten awareness for organ donation.
Hope you are enjoying your summer with the grands. When you have time, send along an email with all the news from your corner of the world.
Blessings,
Mary
This is an "Off Topic Comment" but...I seem to have lost my knack for posting/commenting in 'Blog Land,' for a while. All I do lately, is put up a few photos, here and there. I didn't plan on it... It just happened.
And since I don't want anyone to think I got *uppity* or anything, :-) I'm leaving this comment, to explain my absence.
I'm sure to be back in not too long. Can't keep a "Chatty Person" quiet, for too long. :-)
Miss Mari-Nanci
Mary,
I'm glad you posted this and invited your readers to help you spread the word, which I am very happy to do for this important cause! Thank you.
I included a short note with my response to the 60's email (which I thoroughly enjoyed!). I will write again. I look forward to hearing from you when you get a chance. :-)
Love & hugs,
Tina
Miss Mari-Nanci,
Thank you for letting me know what is happening. Sometimes, I think we all just need a little break from blog land, just as we need breaks from other parts of our daily lives. I hope all is fine and that this time away from regular blogging will help re-energize you!! I would never think you are uppity. You are too nice and too much fun to ever be thought of as uppity! :-)
hugs,
Tina
This is an important message to get out. PS Thank you for dropping by my blog when I was having a rough time.
Wanda, you are welcome. I was very happy when I went back to see the good news! Thank you! :-)
hugs, Tina
